Sinus was born unto a well favored family of administrative laborers. Gladia held accountable men and women to run executive roles on governing the nation's resources, task forces, and citizens. The modern calendar year ran 1948, times for Gladia just seemed to never disimprove. Many, if not most, agree that their generation is excelling where their forefathers and mothers left them. All except Sinus.
He grew up with a notion that youths blabber too much, whining and complaining, annoying others that hold them accountable to shape and eventually age into the roles that their mentors will eventually leave for them. At 6 years old, the child attended his private schooling, trying to understand what adults wanted out of children, having his first thoughts about his age group were unsatisfying.
Much of a child's time growing up was hassled over the teachings of behavioral habits, the regular do's and don'ts, simple teachings. The over congratulating presence on simple milestones made Sinus quite peeved. Why does it take a bending of truth to fool the inexperienced into believing they done a good job. He pondered. The more Sinus meditated on this, the more his mind was set on dashing these notions of youth. He knew there had to be a better way, a way to educate oneself for the better, especially as a child.
The proceeding year consisted of his attempts to convince his age group that they shouldn't be a bother to adults, to not be an annoying pest at times. Most of the kids didn't know what Sinus was on about. It took the occasional example of showcasing how newborns behaved to hint how some of the kids still acted. Nothing's quite as disruptive, rude, obnoxious, and embarrassing as a child's reason to let their pesky drive ruin their good character. Desperately wanting to make his kind useful before an adult, he arranged meets with many prominent children of each district, holding a large one of importance. Each child Sinus spoke to was slightly influenced by a vision of how kids ought to be. The boy's way of talk wasn't unique by any means; it was in how he delivered his speechless intentions that riled up his kind. Demonstrating a serious way of expediting a child's worth before adolescence, Sinus illustrated works of labor. Labor designed for the much earlier ages, whether it's physical, mental, or both. Without the use of words, he drew crude pictures of youths being of use to the public, kids working their dues on becoming reliable assets to Gladia rather than liable ones. He posed it as a competition. A level of one's craft, whether as a group or as an individual, the child in question wouldn't want to miss being a part of something better, something they can take charge of and master.
Not only did Sinus share his images to the many younglings of the metropolis, he was a boy of action, partaking in his own words of guidance, working his part of being useful without the ask of rewards. Children of all ages began taking notice as his deeds were noted by the company they keep. Eventually so many children began their rounds on educating themselves faster, preparing themselves mentally on how to better their generation for greater feats when they age. The massive movement of youths shook the elites of Gladia, dumbfounded by a surge of work labor all of sudden being accomplished with such aid of children for the adults.
The emperor at the time, Flamma, put forth an investigation as to why children were up and out of their wits on becoming productive members of society so rapidly. His royal guards began searching out the collective few that represented the district's child masses. Upon calling them up, they all met with the emperor personally, each of these leading children came forth with answers. These boys and girls, verbally pointed the finger at Sinus as the child who started it. For the boy, he wasn’t part of the kids the guards sought after. Flamma, seated upon his throne, called for the boy's summons, sending his men to find the 7 year old.
The guards searched through the metropolis, at his home and his guardian's work spaces. Luckily, some of the guards caught the child making his way unto the Insulae District, most likely trying to avoid his summons. The district of Insulae is a nasty reputable region, secluded in the depths of Gladia. Many laws and regulations are limited at their entrances as its threatening laborers warrant off authorities and discourage roaming surface dwellers. Insulae is infamous for standing its territory separate from the rest of the metropolis. It claims itself under a different set of authority, by means of criminal activities and organized robber barons. Sinus made a striking attempt to branch out his efforts in this dastardly turf when a royal guard snatched him up to be brought forth to the emperor.
His majesty stood tall and mighty, the emperor of Gladia, glared down at Sinus, searching the boy's mind. The child's parents stood their presence at a far off corner, watching, suspicious about the whole ordeal. Flamma with a punctual clasp to his sheathed weapon, withdrew it to declare the little boy the next Emperor of Gladia. The surrounding folk gone wide eyed, throwing glances at Flamma. Twas such a surprise to them as it was for the boy in question.
The reason brought forth was rather simple, the emperor explained that it is a tradition that Gladians elect the most useful person among their nation as their leader. Such qualities of a leader are agreed upon by the majority public, but with Sinus, it's much more interesting. Not only has he influenced a slew of children unto becoming stable important figures of the population, he has also affected a grand mindset, which will change how the next generations of Gladians shall uphold new standards with.
Growing up, children were deemed to be educated and trained by simple means of progressing stages in their youths. Sinus has opposed that and instead, insisted upon developing a child’s mind rapidly, for the betterment of their future years as full fleshed adults in due age. As a result, the emperor is entrusted to appoint and explain such ambitious qualities, for it is the likeness of such, that they are elected and to endure these responsibilities for many decades to come.
Sinus stood his ground, taming the reality of the situation upon him. The man before him, entrusting a boy of all matters to carry and lead a nation of gladiators valiantly. Flamma bowed before Sinus, declaring his full status as emperor to be acted on by the child's next year of age. For becoming a motivation to inspire youths on taking more responsibility, this change in children reflects virtuous values for the nation. Betterment on causes that will advance the generations to heights much sooner than by regular means.
